In order to prevent harm caused by groups or individuals that pursue economic gain through violence, intimidation, or fraudulent means (so-called “anti-social forces”), we hereby declare the following basic policy:
- We will have no relationship of any kind with anti-social forces.
- To prevent harm from anti-social forces, we will respond in an organized and appropriate manner, in cooperation with external specialist bodies such as the police, the Centers for the Elimination of Boryokudan (organized-crime exclusion centers), and legal counsel.
- We will never accede to improper demands from anti-social forces, and will take legal action against such demands through both civil and criminal channels.
- We will not provide funds to anti-social forces, nor will we engage in any back-room dealings with them.
- We will ensure the safety of the officers and employees who respond to improper demands from anti-social forces.
